Tips For A Perfect Holiday In Los Angeles
In my previous article I talked about some interesting places you should visit in Los Angeles. Today we’ll talk about a few great places where you can have fun and relax at the same time.
Enjoy The Sun On A Pacific Beach
When you think of Los Angeles you obviously think of beach, sun and fun. And which is the most exotic beach in this area if not the busy beach of Malibu, where the sun warms the golden sands and the Pacific waves are just perfect for surfing, windsurfing and any other water sports you can think of?
Malibu is a world renowned place mainly because of its Paradise Cove Beach, where many popular TV shows (such as Baywatch), movies (American Pie 2, Charlie’s Angels & more) and TV commercials were filmed.
As spectacular and exotic it may be though, Malibu is often exceeded by the beauty of El Matador Beach – perhaps the most charming and exclusive beach near Los Angeles.
Anyway, whether you choose to go to El Matador Beach (for a romantic escapade), Paradise Cove Beach, Redondo (skaters and bikers love this beach), Dockweiler, Manhattan, Venice, Zuma or Santa Monica Beach (the amusement park is one of its main attractions), you will definitely feel the taste of a fantastic vacation.
Take Your Children To Disneyland!
To complete a perfect journey, I recommend a visit to Disneyland (in Anaheim, Southern California), in the fantasy world of cartoons, where you will be greeted by Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Cinderella and other Disney characters your kids will adore.
To avoid the crowds, it is best to visit Disneyland during the week, because the park is very crowded on weekends. The shows and rides are not to be missed of course, but it is good to know that, instead of buying tickets to a single show/ride at the time, you can buy special passes and bonus tickets, so you will save money and avoid losing precious time in line.
You should know, however, that two or three days will not be enough to visit all there is to see here – shows, rides and more – so if you do not plan a second visit very soon, is better to book at least four or five days for your stay at Disneyland.
That’s it for my Los Angeles travel recommendations, for now. Come back soon though, as I will continue my guide with other great travel spots.
